Michael D. Robinson, M.P.H., M.B.A., J.D., LL.M. is an attorney licensed in Illinois and currently runs a small health law practice, The Law Firm of Michael D. Robinson & Associates, L.L.C., located in Chicago where the firm focuses on food and drug law, regulatory compliance, and professional licensure.  Mr. Robinson has served as Adjunct Professor of Law, overseeing a required first year law course, Expert Learning, with the Director of the program over several semesters, The John Marshall Law School, Chicago Illinois.  Mr. Robinson has experience doing trial work in both the state and federal courts and has successfully written briefs for and orally argued in front of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Robinson is a frequent guest lecturer at other law and graduate schools.

Previously, Mr. Robinson worked for the United States Food and Drug Administration as Deputy Director of the Chicago District Investigations Branch.  He also served in various compliance and leadership positions over a seven year FDA career.  Prior, as a trained federal investigator, Mr. Robinson developed multiple cases for judicial and administrative actions including seizures, injunctions, and criminal prosecution.  He was trained and specialized in biologics and pharmaceutical products.  Prior to joining the FDA, Mr. Robinson worked for five years in a health care setting.

Mr. Robinson received his Master of Laws in Health Law and his LL.M. Certificate in Compliance from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Mr. Robinson received his Master of Laws in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, with honors; Juris Doctor; and J.D. Certificate in Health Law from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.  While a law student, he served as Executive Justice in the Moot Court Honors Program and was a Morrissey Scholar.  Mr. Robinson received his Master of Public Health, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science degrees from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
